Last week, we escaped for a lovely overnight stay in Boothbay Harbor at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Resort.
My family and I used to vacation in Bath and visit Boothbay, but it has been over 25 years since I visited with them.
We stayed overnight at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort, which we right on the harbor with a gorgeous all around view!
The hotel was extremely clean and safe. When we checked in, we signed a waiver stating that we had not experienced symptoms or been exposed to COVID within the last few weeks. Masks were required everywhere except when you sat at your table for a meal. The hotel provided spare masks and gloves. Additionally, there were temperature checks outside of the restaurant and at the gate to the country club.
Our room was bright and clean. And the coastal decor was totally on point!
Our little deck was absolutely perfect. We could have spent the whole day taking in these views!
The resort is right around the corner from the footbridge to the shops and restaurants. It is a three minute walk!
I could not stop smiling at these gorgeous scenery.
Boothbay takes masking seriously! These signs were everywhere!
Buoys everywhere! Snapped this before sunset and dinner!
We headed back to our room for cocktails and sunset on the deck.
On to dinner as the sun set at Coastal Prime, the resort’s restaurant!
Views of the harbor from the restuarant, and a dream boat!
I promptly changed into my pj’s right away when we got back to the room. This bed was sooo cozy. I loved the Matouk linens.
We woke up early to catch the sunrise (one of us went back to sleep- it wasn’t me).
And then it was time for shopping! I was so excited to visit Maine & Ivy, a small business that I have loved for a long time. It is a must stop if you visit, and if you cannot make it any time soon, you can shop online.
The entryway to the Boothbay Harbor Country Club is so beautiful. It is gated access, and we had our temperatures taken before we were allowed admission.
This was a saltwater pool that was heated. There was a 50 person limit in the pool area. You needed to make a reservation. It was pretty empty, which suited us fine!
The lounge chairs were so comfy. Both of us may have dozed off. Don’t forget your sun protection- I always wear a hat and sunscreen!
We were sad to leave the Boothbay Harbor Country Club. Who wouldn’t be sad to leave a cute town like this?
Thank you so much to Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Resort and Boothbay Harbor Country Club for hosting us, and special thanks to Eliza for making us feel so welcome. We hope to visit again soon!
