Hello, everyone! I am Jen, aka the Preppy Francophile. I was born in Boston, but I grew up in Virginia, came back North for college at Tufts University and law school at Suffolk University and never left!
My style is classic preppy. Everything that you see me in is what I wear in real life! Much of what you see me in is from small businesses, as I am an ardent supporter of small and local businesses.
I live in a cute condo that looks like a cute Cape house with my three rescue cats: Harley Ralston, 13ish, and Maxence Jacques, 8ish and Capone (aka Cappy), 6ish. I also regularly foster and hospice elderly and sick cats.
At the beginning of February 2022, I moved to Sarasota, Florida for the winter season. It has been my dream to escape the cold for 15 years, and I finally did it!
I love Nantucket, and Sconset is my favorite place in the summer. I do not live there, but I am a short distance from the ferry, so I am there all of the time!
I am a francophile, and I speak broken French. I have never been to Provence, and I have been planning a trip there for the last three years!
You will see fashion, home decor, food and travel in this space, but you will also read about my mental wellness journey.
