After Party Sale – Am I too old for the new Lilly?

Lilly Lovers, how did you do?  Me, I got one thing- the Skipper in Gimme Some Leg.  It was on my want list.  Not a great deal, but 30% off and Skippers always sell out.

No one gets more excited for a sale than I do. I ALWAYS have a want list in mind, and I hate paying full price for anything!

I was excited for this sale, and I was proud of myself that I made a list and checked it twice!

Gabby shift in coco safari- not included in the sale. and probably too short on me anyway!

As stated in my past posts, I am picky about what I want.  I don’t really wear shorts, and even if I got back to a size 4, I wouldn’t wear most of the teeny skirts that Lilly makes.

Lilly still makes the Classic Shift for kids. Why not for adults?!?

Me in a classic shift in Taboo. Many years and pounds ago.

Back in the early 2000’s, the Simple Skirt, which was just above the knee, was a go to staple for preps. Now, with the exception of an occasional maxi, there are not a lot of at the knee and below options.

Love the soft pink and green elephant print. I still have it in a dress. So does my sister!

More skirts of THIS length, that aren’t neon, please!

And I can see the animals in that skirt.  The prints still have cute names, but I can’t find the animals! 🙁

Oh, fall Lilly, how I miss you!  Not around for long, but good stuff.

Capris, I miss you, too.  Does anyone remember the cute prints and embroidered critters on capris?

I don’t mean to sound like a grandma, but this reflective post made me really miss the “old” early 2000’s Lilly, and the earlier vintage Lilly.  Definitely not the same as it used to be!

I still hope those of you who waited so patiently got what you wanted.

xxoo, PF
