I used to think that the “Resort” season of clothing, shoes and accessories was for preposterously rich people who went to glamorous places while the rest of us froze.
Then I started visiting my mom’s best friend in Naples, and everything changed. I have free lodging, and she’s s great hostess. It’s not a life of luxury, but it feels like it to me.
Now, when I see Resort being released by my favorite brands, I get so excited!
Here are a few of my favorite resort picks:
This classic UPF 50, moisture wicking Brit dress from Sailor-Sailor was ridiculously comfortable. It’s such a classic!
I was so excited to pick a couple of favorites from Jeanne-Pierre Kilfa’s resort line. This shell dress was a no brainer – it’s everything about my love for the beach as well as my family’s.
Newly resurrected line Jack Tar Togs has oodles of adorable kids stuff and, fortunately for me, some classic preppy staples. This navy and white striped top is a perfect fit!
I scooped up this Katie Kime tunic on sale, and I’m so happy that I did. It’s one of those things that just makes me so happy to wear!
These preppy bracelets from Peachy Pendants are so affordable, and you can convert them into necklaces. You can also add charms, which of course I did!
I still wear a watch all the time, and I don’t care if that ages me. My boyfriend got me this one from Brighton for Chanukah, and I will wear it your round.
These earrings from St. Armand’s Designs scream resort (and spring and summer). I wore them with the striped top and the striped dress.
Both navy and white pairs of sandals that I wore were from Talbots last season. They are faux leather and so comfy! I can’t wait to see what they come out with this spring/summer!
