Friday Finds -Nantucket Style 5.5.17

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  Have a drink or two for me (diet still going strong)!

Shopping was not a priority when I was in Nantucket last Saturday, but I am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest preppy finds.

Here are a few things that are on my favorite island want list.

The picture doesn’t really do this justice, but this Persifor dress at Shift was lovely!

I cannot say enough good things about Sea Dipped.  Not only is Hattie’s hand-picked oyster shell jewelry a must have, but she’s a total sweetheart!  I linked to the shell bracelet on her site because the necklace and keychain are sold out, but call or get to Shift asap!

I am willing to break my a-little-too-short dress rule for this * perfect * pineapple shift from Island Company.  How great would some India Hicks jewelry look with this?!

I love the vintage look of this Nantucket charm from Blue Beetle.

And this cuff!

I can’t wait for a shirt in this print from newcomer Wopatula.  Ally is a native to Nantucket, and it was lovely to meet her at Daffy Fest!

But in the meantime, there’s this tank available!  Truth!

I am so excited to see ACK4170’s stuff in person.  In the meantime, I already featured the Pequod whale necklace, but I also love this currently-sold-out lobster wristlet!

These wallets were in the men’s department of Murray’s toggery- I know my man wouldn’t appreciate this gift, as he is not at all an accessories person, but these may be my favorite needlepoint wallets that I have ever seen!

There is no way that I can treat myself to a $500 poncho, but this one made on site at Nantucket Looms was beautiful.  The picture doesn’t do it justice, but when you see it in person and touch it- it is the softest!

A more reasonable purchase from Looms are the cane stackable bracelets from talented basket weaver (and my friend Amy’s lovely mom) Dale Rutherford.  So classic!HOLIDAYS48_large

Please note that this list is in NO WAY comprehensive of my favorite stores in Nantucket.  That would be a book!  These are just a few from my first trip in 2017.  I’ll be bACK soon, and there will be more Nantucket Friday Finds editions.

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!
