I am so thankful that J.Crew came up with the idea of national stripes day, although I wear stripes multiple times a week.
Stripes are a preppy staple, and I have them on year round, in all weather.
To celebrate this “holiday”, and the end of a miserably cold, Nor’easter ridden March, here are some of my stripey picks!
If you don’t have a classic mariniere and you call yourself preppy, you’re a fraud! The traditional Breton mariniere is a bit heavier, but I love a lightweight one. Regardless, get one (or seven) from the iconic French brand Saint James, which has been around since 1889.
