Nantucket Stroll Guide 2018

Throwing this up in a hurry:

My must visit shops:

Blue Beetle: so much gorgeous cashmere, including a cashmere Nantucket sweater that I wish someone would get me, plus amazing Nantucket jewelry. I want the whole store.

Monelle: their fortune cookie sale is a fun discount on already amazing sales. Love their shoe collection!

CJ Laing: Remember their amazing embroidered clothes and belts? Then you aren’t nearly as old as I am! Beautiful clothing and accessories, plus a pop up to support NISHA with a collab from Meredith Hanson.

Peter Beaton: Fab deals on their must have hats, which I don’t travel to Nantucket without in the summer. Other goodies as well!

Nantucket Whaler: on the straight wharf, they are expanding their store size and reach next year, but don’t miss their last hurrah in their darling little space!!

Skinny Dip: lovely curated preppy and so Nantucket! Some stuff on sale for up to 70% off

Murray’s: I honestly don’t find many deals, but it’s a must stop!

Stephanie’s: So much home decor to die for and a great selection of clothes. Among my faves last year were their Pats ornaments.

Erica Wilson: Great selection of jewelry, needlepoint canvases, kid s, plus, 50% off fall clothes,

Happy place: worth the trip- so cute out there!

Current Vintage: Always where I stop for wine, cheese and to score amazingly curated vintage clothes.

ACK 4170- always beautifully decorated with home wares and clothing that are must haves!

Ladybird Lingerie: beautiful lingerie selection

The Lovely: Truly a lovely curated collection in an adorable location, and owner Julie is especially lovely.

Vis a Vis: A little bit of everything. Clothes, shoes, jewelry. So many great finds!

Salt: Fun mix of clothing, swimwear and accessories for all ages. Loving their faux leather leggings and chunky sweaters. Big Stroll sale!

Perch :good sales and a great holiday atmosphere

Anderson’s; obsessed with their home decor and ornaments. Beyond obsessed with their Limoges

Millie & Grace: family owned, this store has it all and it’s always one of the most beautifully decorated.

Susan Lister Locke: amazing jewelry, photos with Santa from 3:30-5 Sat!

Samuel Owen gallery pop up: a bunch of awesome brands in one place, including a Salty Sole, nantucket sole and ck Bradley. Friday and Sat 10-8, cocktail party Friday 5-8

Nantucket Craft Show: 11 centre street, upstairs, 1-7 Friday, most items from nantucket locals, like my favorites Marcus Foley and Piping Prints. Plus chocolate covered pumpkin and cranberry peanut butter balls!

Mitchell’s- book signing 4/5 pm w Elin Hilderbrand

Pageo jewelers: love this jewelry store!

Peachtree kids: kids store for your preppy must haves, carries Piping Prints!

Places to eat or drink:

Afterhouse: tucked away by Dune, my absolute favorite place to sit at the bar and grab Grey Lady oysters and a glass of wine.

The Nantucket: they have fire pits!!

Petrichor Wine Bar: this little wine bar is adorable!

White Elephant: Just of town and gorgeous year round!!

Club Car: Great food with lots of veggie options, and affordable as well! Love the Golden Girls feel of the dining room.

Cru: Always a great party atmosphere!

Dune: possibly my favorite Nantucket restaurant, dying to try this scallop crude!

Nantucket Culinary open house: Sat 9-2

Must-do’s:

11:45 a.m. Sat, Dec 1- town crier rings in Stroll and then heads to straight wharf to greet Santa!

Festival of Trees: At the amazing Nantucket Whaling Museum, can’t miss.

Historic House tour: Nantucket’s home decorated perfectly for the holidays? Yes!!
