Perfect Easter Day

So, I don’t celebrate Easter for religious reasons, but I love a good excuse to get together with friends, put on a dress, matching bag and accessories and eat something.  Especially when it’s in the 80’s!!

The first part of my day was spent cleaning the house.  That lasted until about noon, when I couldn’t stand to be inside any more.

The BF and I gardened for a few hours and then I skipped over to my friend Rachel’s house for some girl time and dessert.

The house looked beautiful, and so did the host and hostess and their guests.  The desserts looked pretty good as well!  And this was only half of it!!Unfortunately, the little man of the house was down for the count for the time that I was there, which sadly wasn’t super long because V and I had some grilling to do.  But we got some good bestie snaps together!

Rachel obligingly snapped my ootd picture.  I LOVED this pique kelly green and white dress from The Limited when I saw it two years ago.  I found it in the clearance section for $20, but this is the first time that I could zip it.  Yea!!!

The dress isn’t available, but my faux leather shoes are from Talbots and come in a bunch of colors!  And the navy and green striped watch is from Timex.

This Kate Spade tote is old and could use some paint touch ups, but I LOVE wearing it each year, especially when it gets warm!

No, the ham isn’t touching my dress.

Something for everyone on the grill, and the charcoal packs in so much flavor!

Hope everyone had a great day, a great Easter if you celebrate and a good weekend.

Marathon watching tomorrow!
