Valentines Day Activities

As I have mentioned, I am not a fan of Valentines Day.  I do, however, like excuses to wear pink and things with hearts on them and to eat chocolate things (although Indont need a holiday for either)!

I worked until mid-afternoon, and then I headed to South Boston to the only place that I knew that I could get something rose flavored- a delicious rose petal macaron from Miam Miam Macaronerie!  I wish that I had taken a picture of the outside- there was a huge heart made of multicolored macarons! After grabbing my macarons, which included a delicious chocolate covered strawberry  macaron of the day, I had a thought: why not hit up Yo! Sushi for a quick lunch.  So I did!

Such fun goodies.  Loved the spicy seafood udon.  I had no problem sitting by myself and putting it down- with leftovers to boot!

I don’t go out to dinner on Valentines Day, but I couldn’t resist looking at a few French restaurants.

My bf was a sweetheart and picked up some delicious takeout.  Shrimp and grilled veggie mofongo.  Delish!

And I made these things for dessert: salted chocolate covered strawberries and gluten free cocoa crepes.   No sappy cards or gifts, but lots of love and a good day of deliciousness!

Hope everyone either enjoyed themselves or at least had a tolerable day.
