When it comes to fashion, sustainable and comfortable are two key factors in my decision making process.
I was introduced to Vivaia, a company founded in 2020, last year, and I was instantly hooked! Their mission is “to create the most stylish and sustainable footwear that is eco-friendly and responsible.“
Their shoes are made from recycled water bottles and renewable wool, and they have the most comfortable deodorizing insoles!
The first pair that I chose were the pointed toe v-cut flats in cornflower/ocean, because it was still summer, and I am always by the ocean! I take a 38 in the flats.
For the holidays, I chose the pointed toe bow flats in bordeaux red. They are a sparkly red that is perfect for winter, and they come with two interchangable bows!
Vivaia’s selection of boots is amazing! There are so many styles to choose from, and, of course, I chose two very different ones. Because well made, stylish, sustainable, eco-friendly shoes are hard to find. Especially at these prices!
I ordered the round toe chunky heel ankle boot in grey, and the square toe mid-calf boots in black. Both ran a bit small unless you have a narrow foot, which I clearly do not. I sized up to a 39 in the boots.
Vivaia’s shoes come in 100% recyclable cardboard boxes, with next to no artifical colors so as not to harm the environment.
Vivaia also makes clothing with recycled materials, including knits, cashmere, tops and bottoms.
I can see myself adding this beautiful carribean blue cashmere sweater to my summer nights’ wardrobe!
