If you follow a lot of New England bloggers, you have seen a lot of trips up North to New Hampshire and Vermont.
If you follow along with me, you have not seen that, and there is a reason: I have been social distancing and not traveling anywhere overnight because I am going to visit my sister and her family this coming weekend!
Here is what I have been up to this past week.
I watched Emily in Paris. It was cute, and while I thought some of it was accurate, other parts were totally unrealistic. One among many things that would NEVER happen in France- French people speaking English around an English speaker, especially in the workplace. Did you watch? What did you think?
I baked some gluten free pumpkin muffins. Recipe here.
We went to a cranberry farm in Achusnet, Stone Bridge, where you could pick up a one or two pound container of cranberries at the cutest little cottage. It was on the honor system, where you put money for what you took in a box. It was very safe, as we were the only ones within miles.
And then I baked this:
I attended the Young Women For Biden zoom, where I discovered how far I am from being a young woman! But seriously, look at this statistic! GET OUT AND VOTE!
I popped into local shop For Now to pick up a Dudley Stephens fleece that was sold out online. For Now features so many great small brands, many of which are women owned and sustainable. For Dudley Stephens lovers who are frustrated with missing new drops, they have a partnership with For Now, and you can score many styles on For Now’s site or in store!
I rounded up some sales to shop:
Piping Prints: 40% off with code LOVEFALL.
Style Filos: 4 pieces for $44! Use code JEN15 to save $15! I wear my pieces all of the time, including this necklace
Sailor Sailor: 25% of with code HARVEST
Talbots: buy 3, get 50% off
I shared my Talbots stripes and staples picks here
I bought this dress from Belk in August, and now it is under $15!!
On a sad note, I lost a friend unexpectedly last week. I had not seen her in years and we had not talked in a while, and now I will never be able to. Just a reminder to make an effort with someone who you care about, because you never know when it will be too late.
